What are the consequences of breaking the lid of a perfume bottle in a store without informing the owner?

The question posed by the sister has two scenarios:

1. Permission to open the box: If the shop owner permits the opening of the perfume box (verbally or by custom), then there is no guarantee (of recompense) nor sin upon her if something breaks from it without transgression, because the owner's permission nullifies the guarantee and the sin.

Prohibition from opening the box: If the shop owner prohibits the opening of the box (verbally or by custom), then she is considered a transgressor and must guarantee (reimburse) what she has damaged to the shop owner. She should inform him or send someone to inform him. If he forgives his right, then praise be to Allah; otherwise, she must pay him the value of what she has damaged.
