What is the relationship between jinn and humans, and do jinn affect a person's daily life?

Allah Almighty has informed us that jinn see us from where we do not see them, and He empowers devils over disbelievers to incite them to sins. This animosity between thelinn devils and the children of Adam is ancient and ongoing. Jinn influence people's daily lives by casting doubts and beautifying sins, for the devil flows through the son of Adam like blood. Whoever neglects this enmity will be affected by the devil, who will distance them from their Lord. As for the jinn's touching a human and harming them, that is also established. Protection from this is achieved by seeking refuge in Allah, holding fast to Him, and adhering to His law. If a servant's faith is complete, the cunning of devils will not harm them.
