Can the reward of saying "Subhan Allah" a hundred times or other forms of dhikr be gifted to one's parents, with the father being deceased and the mother alive?

Scholars differ on the issue of whether the reward for righteous deeds reaches the deceased, holding two views. The preponderant view is that nothing reaches them except what the evidence indicates reaches them, such as Hajj, Umrah, obligatory fasting, charity, and supplication. This is based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿And that there is not for man except that which he endeavors for﴾, and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: «When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three: an ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who supplicates for him.» It has not been reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Quran for his deceased relatives, nor did any of the Companions. Thus, supplication and charity are among the best things that benefit the deceased.
