Does the reward for charity, from money or otherwise, reach one's mother, whether she is alive or deceased, or does only supplication reach her, as stated in the Hadith: "When a person dies, his deeds cease except for three: ..." and he mentioned, "...or a righteous child who supplicates for him"?

Scholars have differed regarding whether the reward for reciting the Quran reaches the deceased. The most sound opinion is that it does not reach them, due to lack of evidence, and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions did not do so. As for charity and supplication, the living and the dead benefit from them by consensus. Hajj and Umrah benefit the deceased and those who are unable due to old age or an incurable illness. Fasting on behalf of the deceased, if they owed an obligatory fast (such as a vow, expiation, or Ramadan), is permissible for their guardian to perform on their behalf. The supplication of a righteous child for their parents is more beneficial and closer to being answered.
