Is it permissible to strike a servant if he has committed zina with a maidservant?

Adultery is one of the most heinous immoral acts, and its punishment mentioned in the Quran is one hundred lashes. However, individuals are not permitted to carry out these punishments; rather, it must be administered by the ruler or his deputy. Therefore, it is not permissible to beat an adulterous servant. Instead, he should be forbidden from committing evil, advised, and warned about the consequences of sins.
