Is it permissible to supplicate for the guidance of the Rawāfiḍ, knowing that supplication for polytheists is not permissible?

It is forbidden to seek forgiveness for polytheists, as indicated by the noble verses of the Quran and the prophetic hadiths. The seeking of forgiveness by Abraham for his father was before it became clear to him that his father was an enemy of Allah. And the supplication of the Prophet for his uncle Abu Talib was before he was forbidden from doing so. As for supplicating for disbelievers for their guidance, it is permissible, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) did so, and it is for the purpose of winning over their hearts.
