What is the solution for succeeding in the pursuit of Islamic knowledge and overcoming the whispers of Satan?

Seeking knowledge is one of the greatest acts of righteousness, and it is no wonder that Satan hinders those who devote themselves to it, for they are more dangerous to him than limited acts of worship. "The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like my superiority over the least of you." To overcome the obstacles of Satan, a servant needs to understand the importance of beneficial knowledge, possess strong determination, patience, diligence, keep company with students of knowledge, diversify methods, and switch from one subject to another when boredom sets in. It has been said: "Be patient and do not despair from a pursuit, for the bane of the student is to despair," and "My brother, you will not attain knowledge except through six things, which I will explain clearly: intelligence, eagerness, diligence, sufficient provision, the company of a teacher, and a long time."
