Is it better for a student of knowledge, who is subjected to harm and sorcery by criminals exploiting their knowledge to inflict damage upon the religion, to cease seeking knowledge and advice, despite his need for knowledge and the presence of those close to him who are engaged in sins?

We ask Allah to grant this student well-being and safety, and we congratulate him on the commitment and pursuit of knowledge that Allah has bestowed upon him. We advise him to be patient in continuing his studies, for the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, pleased with what he does. We inform him that through ruqyah and supplication, a servant can rid himself of all evils. Therefore, we advise him to be patient in his pursuit (of knowledge), to persevere in supplication, to fortify himself with adhkar (remembrances), and to continue with ruqyah.
