Is a celebratory meal (walimah) for relatives with the intention of an Udhiyah sufficient in place of an Udhiyah whose meat must be distributed?

Giving charity from the meat of the sacrificial animal (Adahi) is obligatory according to the Shafi'i and Hanbali schools, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "So eat, store, and give charity." It is obligatory to give in charity something that can be called "meat." If the sacrificer eats the entire sacrificial animal, he is obligated to guarantee what should have been given in charity. As for the saying "The closest kin are more deserving of kindness," it is neither a Qur'anic verse nor a prophetic tradition.
