How accurate are the circulating stories about "Uj ibn Unuq" as a character who truly existed, and has any authentic hadith been narrated concerning him?

"Awj ibn 'Unuq" is a mythical, imaginary figure that does not exist with this exaggerated description. Rather, it is one of the Isra'iliyyat (Judeo-Christian traditions) that crept into some books of exegetes and storytellers. What is mentioned regarding his enormous height, his hunting of whales and roasting them in the sun, and his stories with Noah and Moses (peace be upon them) is false and impossible. This has been refuted by meticulous scholars.

The Holy Qur'an explicitly states the destruction of all disbelievers after Noah (peace be upon him) in His saying: "So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. Then We drowned after that the remaining ones," and Noah's (peace be upon him) saying: "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from the disbelievers any inhabitant."

Moreover, the noble Prophetic Hadith confirms that human height has been continuously decreasing since the creation of Adam (peace be upon him): "Indeed, Allah created Adam, and his height was sixty cubits. Then creation has continued to decrease until now." This refutes the claims about the mythical height of Awj ibn 'Unuq.

These sayings contradict both reason and transmitted knowledge, and they are fabrications of heretics and wicked individuals who were enemies of the prophets.
