ما هي شروط الإمامة؟

The conditions for an Imam in prayer are that he must be a Muslim, free from disbelief-inducing innovations, male if there are males among the congregants, in a state of ritual purity, sane, capable of performing the pillars of prayer, capable of reciting Al-Fatiha, and not be a follower (ma'mum) himself.
