What is the ruling on working as a swimming referee, given that the 'awrah of most swimmers is exposed?

The majority of jurists hold that a man's 'awrah (private parts that must be covered) is what is between the navel and the knee, and the thigh is considered 'awrah. Swimming attire (swimsuit) does not cover the severe 'awrah, and it is not permissible to wear it or to look at someone wearing it. One must avoid working in a job that requires this, except in cases of extreme necessity. If compelled to do so, one must try to rectify the situation and lower their gaze.
