When a woman swims in trousers, they cling to the body and reveal the size of her limbs. This is makrooh (disliked) because it defines the awrah (intimate parts) and describes them. It is (forbidden) if it shows the color of the skin. Therefore, women should avoid swimming in trousers in front of mahrams (unmarriageable kin) or should wear an izar (wrap) or a dress over them.
