If a father allows his minor son, who has not reached the legal age and does not possess a driver's license, to drive a car, and the son dies in an accident: if the son was skilled in driving, there is no expiation upon the father. However, if he was not skilled, then the father must offer expiation for accidental killing, which is fasting for two consecutive months. The issue of the license is not essential; what matters most is the proficiency in driving.
