Is it permissible to benefit from money acquired by its owner through an interest-based loan or from unlawful money whose source is unknown?

There is no objection to using your brother's car, which he purchased with usury, because the sin of usury is attached to the usurer himself, not to the object purchased with the loan. However, you should advise your brother to repent to Allah from engaging in usurious borrowing.
