If you believe that the tenets of another religion are beautiful and peaceful, is that considered an act of disbelief (kufr)?

It is permissible to appreciate the morals of disbelievers if these morals are among those enjoined and encouraged by Islam. However, these morals should be loved because they are commanded by Allah and His Messenger, not because they stem from the beliefs of that community. A person becomes a disbeliever by loving disbelieving doctrines.

As for the claim that Buddhism loves all people, this is incorrect, because Islam commands love for believers and hatred for disbelievers. This assertion is false, for these people are neither proponents of peace nor lovers of all humanity. The massacres of Muslims in Burma bear witness to the falsehood of these claims.
