Is the wife considered unjust to her husband's brothers for possessing golden bracelets that her husband gifted her before his death, despite their denial? And is she the cause of her husband's death, as his sister claims?

The default assumption for a Muslim is innocence. If the sister of the deceased husband accuses the questioner of causing his death without evidence, she is doing wrong and is unjust. The questioner should remind her of Allah's saying: "And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned have certainly borne a slander and a manifest sin."

The questioner should not concern herself with the words of the husband's sister and should instead attend to matters in her life that benefit her. As for the gold that the husband gave to the questioner before marriage, its ruling varies according to circumstances, and scholars should be consulted regarding it. As for what he gifted her after marriage, if there is evidence that it was a gift, then it belongs to her. Otherwise, it is part of the inheritance and is distributed among the heirs. The wife's share of her husband's inheritance, if he has no children, is one-quarter, after settling debts and executing the will. It is advisable to refer to Sharia courts in matters of dispute.
