A woman is permitted to wear a wedding dress in front of other women, provided that it does not reveal the area between the navel and the knee. However, she must cover her entire body if non- men are present. Women are allowed to recite poetry at the wedding while playing the duff, on condition that their voices do not reach men. As for ululations (zaghareed), previous fatwas regarding them can be consulted.
