What are the honorable and logical stances that indicate the superiority of Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman after the Messenger, even though they have no known combat positions and were not among the memorizers of the Quran, without referring to the narrations that speak of their superiority?

The two premises upon which the conclusion is built are false. First, the claim that Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman were not memorizers of the Qur'an is incorrect. Ibn Hajar mentioned that Abu Bakr had memorized the Qur'an during the lifetime of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and this is evidenced by his being put forward to lead the prayers for the Muhajireen and Ansar. Abu Ubayd counted the four Caliphs among the memorizers (huffaz) from the Muhajireen. As for the hadith, "Take the Qur'an from four," it does not negate the existence of other memorizers. Abu Bakr's command to compile the Qur'an is not proof of his not having memorized it, but rather due to his preoccupation with the affairs of the Caliphate.

As for the second premise, which claims the absence of Abu Bakr and Umar from the battles, it is even more corrupt than the first. Historians and biographers have mentioned that Abu Bakr and Umar witnessed all the battles with the Prophet, peace be upon him, and did not miss a single expedition.

Since both premises are flawed, the conclusion built upon them is invalid. This indicates an ignorance of the status of these eminent figures whom Allah chose to accompany His Prophet and with whom He was pleased, as stated in His saying, the Almighty: "Certainly was Allah pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree," and His saying: "And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him."

Whoever does not trust the authentic narrations regarding the virtues of the Companions, how can he trust the Qur'an which was compiled and transmitted to us through them? So, for whom Allah has not appointed light, for him there is no light.
