Is discontinuing dialysis considered suicide if the patient is unable to bear the exorbitant costs and has become a burden on their family, especially since dialysis exhausts them physically and psychologically and will not lead to a cure, and stopping it will lead to death?

We advise the afflicted to be patient and to continue with treatment and kidney dialysis, for a long life spent in obedience to Allah is better, and what the family spends will be counted in the balance of their good deeds. Seeking treatment is following the Sunnah and one is rewarded for it."
