Are the nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand who enter Hell immortal therein?

The mentioned number likely includes disbelievers and disobedient believers. Therefore, not all of them will remain in Hell eternally. Eternity in Hell is exclusive to disbelievers, not disobedient monotheists. Ibn Hajar mentioned in Fath al-Bari that the intent behind those sent to Hell may be disbelievers and disobedient individuals who enter it.
