Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim, and it has established principles that protect it from the manipulation of pretenders and innovators. A student of knowledge needs a sheikh to learn from and be guided by. One should not be ashamed to ask about what one does not know, for knowledge is acquired through learning.
