The wife must deal with her husband in a way that reflects his apparent state, assuming his actions are innocent, and avoid suspicion and spying, as these are sinful and further complicate matters.

If the husband admits to committing evil deeds, the wife should advise him kindly and remind him to repent. If he does not repent, she has the right to seek a divorce due to his immorality.

The wife can strive to reform her husband by drawing closer to him, beautifying herself for him, treating him well, praying for him, and diligently cultivating her own virtue by listening to admonitions and reciting the Quran.

It is also permissible to involve some righteous people to influence him.
