Is a wife entitled to seek divorce from her husband who does not treat his two wives justly, even in bed?

We have explained the ruling on justice between wives, what requires justice, and what does not. Justice is not required between wives in the number of times of intercourse; rather, the husband is Islamically obligated to satisfy their needs. Similarly, the husband must fear Allah Almighty concerning his wives and know that injustice has dire consequences. It is not permissible for a woman to seek divorce merely because her husband married a second wife, based on the hadith: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without any harm (justification), the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." However, if there is a legitimate reason, such as the abandonment of sexual intercourse, then it is permissible for her to seek divorce.
