To what extent is the hadith "There is no monasticism in Islam" authentic?

The correct meaning of "siyahat ummati" (the wandering/traveling of my nation) is jihad in the way of Allah, as mentioned in the hadith (definition) of Abu Umamah. As for the meaning of "sa'iḥāt" (those who wander/travel) in the verse: "Muslim women, believing women, obedient women, penitent women, worshipping women, sa'iḥāt, previously married and virgins," it refers to fasting. It has been mentioned in the religious texts that "siyahah" can mean both jihad and fasting.
