Will a mother be held accountable on the Day of Judgment for her son's deviation from religion, despite her attempts to reform him?

The mother bears no sin for her misguided son, for every person is responsible and accountable for their own actions. Allah Almighty says: (And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another). And it is narrated in the Hadith: (Indeed, no one who commits a crime commits it except against himself). Nevertheless, she must continue to advise and admonish him, and show her disapproval of his state. She may even cut ties with him if that will affect him and bring him back to his senses.
