Is it narrated that an angel held the stone upon which Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood and moved it to facilitate construction during the building of the Kaaba?

There is no established text indicating the assistance of angels in building the Kaaba. The apparent meaning of the Qur’an suggests that Ibrahim and Ismail, peace be upon them, undertook this task by themselves. The Hadith in Bukhari concerning the building of the Kaaba does not mention any role for angels, not even in moving the stone upon which Al-Khalil stood. Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir mentioned that Ibrahim used the stone to stand upon during construction to receive stones from Ismail, and he would move it around the Kaaba until its construction was completed.
