The answer

Allah forgives every sin with repentance, remorse, and seeking forgiveness. Allah does not hold one accountable for unintentional mistakes, as He Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." By his nature, man dislikes hardship and distress. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day, and if an matter troubled him, he would pray.
