What is the ruling on saying to oneself, "What is this filth that one is in?" during moments of extreme distress, followed by seeking forgiveness, and is this considered unlawful discontent?

If the phrase "Ya Sattar" (O [Divine] Concealer/Protector) is uttered without the intention of expressing discontent or objecting to Allah's decree, then there is no sin in it. However, if it is accompanied by resentment, objection, and discontent, then this is blameworthy and contrary to beautiful patience. Ibn al-Qayyim indicated that groaning is of two types: groaning of complaint, which is disliked, and groaning of relief and comfort, which is not disliked.
