What is the global significance of Islam and what are its manifestations?

The global significance of Islam lies in its being the religion by which all sentient beings must worship Allah, and that it is the religion of Allah the Almighty, by which He is not pleased with any other religion. It is also the religion of all prophets and messengers. The manifestations of its global nature are evident in many of its laws and acts of worship, which fulfill the needs of people and are suitable for every time and place. Anyone who utters the two testimonies of faith becomes a Muslim, with no distinction between Arab and non-Arab, black or white, rich or poor. Prayer unites Muslims in one row before Allah, and Hajj gathers them from the East and West of the earth in one place. Furthermore, a Muslim feels the pain of his Muslim brother anywhere in the world and allies with and opposes for his sake, as Allah the Almighty says: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam" (Aal-Imran: 19), and His saying: "And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers" (Aal-Imran: 85), and His saying: "Say, "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all"" (Al-A'raf: 158).
