Is it permissible for a Muslim to play and participate in sports clubs in infidel countries, such as Barcelona and others?

It is permissible to join clubs if they are free from Sharia prohibitions. The most prominent of these prohibitions are: residing in disbelieving lands without necessity, participating in forbidden acts such as revealing 'awrah (private parts) and intermingling, and inclining towards them and approving of their false customs.
