What is the ruling on a husband forcing his wife to go to the beach with her daughters, where he encourages them to remove their hijabs and swim, accompanied by quarreling with and shunning of the wife if she refuses?

It is impermissible for a woman to wear a swimsuit in front of men or women, and children must be raised to be modest. A man taking his wife and daughters to a mixed beach is haram (forbidden). Even if the beach is empty, when a woman emerges from the water, her clothes cling to her body, revealing her awrah (private parts), and it is not permissible for her to appear in such a state before anyone other than her husband. A wife's detestation of this matter and her forbidding it are commendable. The husband's estrangement or abandonment will not harm her because it is not for a good cause. She should be wise in dealing with him, calmly explain the religious ruling, seek help from scholarly materials, and strive to endear herself to her husband, honor him, and obey him in matters that do not involve sin. If the crisis is not resolved, she can seek the help of people of intellect and wisdom.
