Will Allah question me about my wife's actions, such as smoking, abandoning prayer, and leaving the house without my permission, despite my warnings and reminders to her about the wrongfulness of her deeds, knowing that our marital relationship is strained due to her family's interference and her changed behavior?

A husband must prevent his wife from committing evil deeds and compel her to fulfill religious obligations, based on the Almighty's saying: {Men are in charge of women} [An-Nisa: 34]. Therefore, strive to advise her and remind her of Allah's rights and the obedience due to her husband. Explain to her the danger of negligence in prayer and the impermissibility of smoking. If she becomes righteous, then keep her and treat her kindly, and try to provide an independent home. However, if she does not respond and insists on disobeying Allah, then she should be divorced, as divorce may be obligatory in this case.
