What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding how to deal with a wife who refuses to obey her husband, frequently leaves the house and spends the night at her family's home, does not pray, accuses the house of being inhabited by jinn, has insulted the husband's family and expelled his brother, and is now requesting a divorce after her husband hit her as a result of her continuous provocation, knowing that she is pregnant and receives encouragement from her mother for her behavior?

If the wife is disobedient (nashiz), ill-mannered, and abandons prayer, the husband must strive to reform her, especially concerning prayer, for whoever neglects it is more neglectful of other matters. He must make it clear to her that her leaving the house without necessity is not permissible except with his permission, and if her mother is corrupting her, he must prevent her from visiting her. If these attempts do not succeed and she persists in abandoning prayer, then she should be divorced. Indeed, some scholars have even held that it is obligatory to separate from her.
