Speaking with one's fiancée in a way that arouses desire is forbidden, and one must repent from it. Scholars differed regarding whether the emission of madhy (pre-seminal fluid) invalidates the fast or not. The fatwa issued is that it does not invalidate the fast, and therefore, that day does not need to be made up. However, it is safer to make it up to avoid the اختلاف (disagreement among scholars). Doubting the emission of madhy has no consequence, because the default state is purity, and certainty is not removed by doubt. If one is certain of the emission of madhy, then ablution is required, and the place on the clothes that it touched must be purified. If its location is hidden, then one must wash what one is certain will remove the impurity. Some scholars held the view that investigation (taharri) is permissible. Purifying madhy from clothes is done by sprinkling water on them, not by washing, according to the preponderant opinion.
