Is Al-Fard (The Single/The Unique) one of the Names of Allah?

The name "Al-Fard" (The Single/Unique) has been mentioned in several weakly-authenticated hadiths. Some scholars have referred to it in their discourse about Allah the Almighty. However, its appearance in the Quran does not refer to Allah the Almighty, but rather signifies that the servant will come forth alone on the Day of Judgment. The correct approach is not to attribute this name to Allah, because Allah's names are divinely ordained (Tawqifiyyah) and depend on what has been authentically established in sound evidence.
