Is it permissible to wear accessories made of iron during prayer?

Scholars have differed regarding the permissibility or disliking of adorning oneself with iron. However, the more authoritative opinion is that it is not disliked, due to the established saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Even if it is an iron ring," and due to the weakness of the hadith: "Indeed, it is the adornment of the people of the Fire." According to both opinions, prayer performed while wearing it is valid, as merely wearing something forbidden does not invalidate the prayer according to the majority of scholars. Therefore, there is no harm in wearing iron accessories during prayer or outside of it.
