Is it permissible to distribute the aqiqah meat for a feast, such that the brother performs the aqiqah and his full brother distributes the meat of the feast for the invited guests to eat?

The 'aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) is similar to the udhiyah (sacrifice during Eid al-Adha) in terms of eating, gifting, and giving in charity. One must give some of it to the poor as charity. Thereafter, a person is permitted to do as they wish with the remainder; there is no harm in using its meat for a wedding banquet. The Hanbalis have permitted combining the udhiyah and the 'aqiqah in a single sacrifice, and this is permissible if the purpose of both is achieved through one slaughter.
