Is it permissible to gift the two 'Aqiqah sacrifices for my son to my sister for her to slaughter them at her wedding, with the intention of 'Aqiqah?

The purpose of the aqiqah is to slaughter livestock to free the newborn from its pledge. There is nothing in the Sunnah regarding the division of its meat, and what is important is the slaughter itself. It was narrated from Ibn Sirin that he said: "Dispose of the meat of the aqiqah as you wish." Imam Ahmad stated that one can eat from it or give it away as charity. Sheikh Al-Albani clarified that a person has the option to eat all of it, or divide it among the poor, or eat from it and give a portion as charity. If the aqiqah is slaughtered with a correct intention, then one may dispose of its meat as they wish, such as giving it as a gift to their sister on her wedding day, although it is preferable to eat from it, give gifts, and give charity. However, giving the two sheep to the sister for her to slaughter on her wedding day does not constitute a valid aqiqah.
