Is it permissible to slaughter two sheep for the aqiqah of a male separately, and can a feast be made from the aqiqah, or must a part of it be distributed to the poor? Is it permissible to give the value of the vow to slaughter the two sheep to charities, or must they be slaughtered and distributed? And which should be slaughtered first: the father's aqiqah or the son's aqiqah?

The Sunnah (definition) is to slaughter the Aqiqah (definition) on the seventh day of the newborn's life. If two sheep are to be slaughtered, it is permissible to delay one of them. If it is missed on the seventh day, it can be slaughtered on the fourteenth, or the twenty-first, or thereafter at any time it becomes feasible, but the best is to slaughter it on the seventh day. It has been mentioned that the two sheep for the Aqiqah should be slaughtered at the same time. It is permissible to hold a banquet with the Aqiqah, or to give it as charity, or part of it, or to give part of it as a gift. If someone reached adulthood and their family did not perform the Aqiqah for them, it is recommended for them to perform the Aqiqah for themselves. They should prioritize the Aqiqah for their child if they cannot perform the Aqiqah for both themselves and their child. A vow (Nathr) is more binding than the Aqiqah, and it is obligatory to fulfill it by slaughtering the vowed animals and distributing their meat. Giving their monetary value in charity is not sufficient.
