What is the difference between using "and you were not residing [there]" and "and you were not dwelling [there]" or "and you were not inhabiting [there]"?

We do not find a difference in meaning between "thaawiyan" (residing), "saakinan" (dwelling), and "muqeeman" (staying). Exegetes and linguists have interpreted some of these terms using others. "Thaawiyan" means dwelling and staying, and "al-qatinah" refers to dwelling in a house.
