Calamity for the believer is a blessing by which Allah elevates ranks and expiates sins, and it may be an indication of Allah's love for His servant. What has afflicted you may be the result of psychological pressures, or sorcery, or the evil eye, or envy. It is advised to consult a trustworthy psychiatrist, continue with Ruqyah Shariah (Islamic exorcism), increase in the remembrance of Allah and supplication, while being cautious of charlatans and of accusing anyone without evidence.
