Is a wife sinful for not returning to her husband and giving him his rights after being subjected to suspicion, beatings, humiliation, and attempts to harm her?

If the situation is as described, then the wife incurs no sin for leaving her husband's house and not returning to it, as she is permitted to leave without her husband's permission if she experiences a calamity or if he beats her severely.

The wife is allowed to take her case to court to deter the husband or to seek a divorce from him. She has the right to divorce the husband due to harm, which includes actions that are not permissible by Sharia, such as abandoning her without a valid Sharia reason, or beating her.

What is advised is to strive for reconciliation and to involve some righteous individuals to speak with the husband and explain to him the impermissibility of his actions and his unfounded accusations. If he suffers from a psychological disorder, then efforts should be made to treat him. If he regains his senses and treats her kindly, that is good. Otherwise, she has the option to separate from him through divorce or khul' (divorce at the wife's instance), and she will incur no sin.
