How was the Prophet's love for the Quran and his honoring of its people manifested, and what was the extent of the Companions' concern for it?

The Quran is the word of Allah, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to warn people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) received it with veneration and love, to the extent that the Quran was his character, and he found pleasure in its recitation until his feet would crack, and he loved listening to it from others. The Prophet (peace be upon him) honored the bearer of the Quran by giving him precedence in leading the prayer, elevating his status to that of the people of goodness, and made venerating him a part of glorifying Allah Almighty.

The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) approached the Quran by learning it, teaching it, reflecting upon it, and acting upon it. They spent their nights in intimate communion with Allah, submitted to its guidance, and beautified their voices with its recitation.
