Why must we love, obey, follow, and revere the Prophet Muhammad more than anyone else?

Obeying and respecting the Messenger, Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, are duties, for he is the one who guided us to the path of Paradise, and it cannot be entered except by following him and acting upon his Sunnah. So, obeying the Messenger is obeying Allah. The Prophet's favor upon us is greater than that of our parents. Allah has prepared Paradise for whoever obeys him, and Hellfire for whoever disobeys him. Also, the Companions' love for him was immense.
