Is the husband's mistreatment of his wife—who was forced by her family to marry him while abroad—the result of magic, and how should it be dealt with?

Lawful Ruqyah is permissible for both the afflicted and the un-afflicted. For the sister to gain Allah's pleasure and her husband's love, she must have piety towards Allah, treat her husband well, and forgive him. For Allah loves those who do good and makes His creation love them, as He says: (And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] with that which is better, and immediately he to whom there was enmity between you and him would become as though he was a devoted friend). It has been reported in the Hadith that if Allah loves a servant, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will love him, and acceptance will be placed for him. And for the believers who do righteous deeds, Allah places love for them in the hearts of His righteous servants, as He says: (Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection).
