How can a woman deal with her husband who commits adultery and treats her harshly, and who suspects the presence of magic affecting him, while she desires not to lose him and not to inform her family? And is it permissible for her to remain with him?

A husband who commits adultery and treats his wife cruelly combines disobedience to Allah with a neglect of his wife's rights, as she is entitled to be treated with kindness.

It cannot be definitively stated that magic can lead a person to a state where they are unaware they are committing adultery. If the husband fears he is bewitched, he should seek treatment. If he is deluded or falsely claiming magic, he must repent and treat his wife well.

The wife has the right to seek a divorce to avert harm from herself. It is advisable to consult people of knowledge and good counsel.
