Is it permissible to play games and watch movies that include supernatural elements if they do not contain a Sharia-prohibited matter, given that the questioner suffers from whispers of disbelief?

That which is permitted concerning characters with supernatural powers in games and stories is that which does not claim any attributes of Lordship (Rububiyyah) or Divinity (Uluhiyyah), does not mimic magic or sorcery, and does not involve any resemblance between the Creator and the created. Denouncing with the heart is the weakest form of faith, and this occurs when one is unable to denounce with the hand or the tongue. It is advised to turn away from whisperings (waswas) and not pay attention to them, while supplicating to Allah for protection from them.
