Is it permissible to take an oath upon the honor of the profession by proxy, through a judicial guarantee?

Agency is not valid in oaths, because they pertain to the person of the swearer himself, such as ila' (vow of abstinence from marital relations) and li'an (oath of condemnation). Nor is it valid in testimony. Oaths and vows are not valid for delegation, due to their resemblance to bodily acts of worship and hudud (prescribed punishments).
