Does a divorce issued in a state of extreme anger, in which the husband was not aware of what he was saying or doing, take effect, especially if he had previously reconciled with his wife based on a legal fatwa, and did not intend to divorce, knowing that the wife was menstruating at the time he uttered the divorce?

If the anger was so intense that you uttered the divorce without being aware of what you were saying, then your divorce is not effective and there is no need for a return. However, if you were aware of what you were saying, then your divorce is effective even if the wife was menstruating, and this is the opinion of the majority of scholars. It is advisable to present the matter to scholars at an Islamic center, and to be warned against anger, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not get angry."
